The clinical research group in Global Health at the Department of Infectious Diseases, Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine focuses on the following fields of research:
- Respiratory health in developing countries including communicable as well as non-communicable diseases (NCD´s)
- Imported infectious diseases with a focus on malaria
- Chagas Disease in Europe and in Bolivia
- Design, development and implementation of e-health and m-health applications and solutions to improve health in rural and remote regions in developing countries
